The Brown campaign gave the Shawmut Group a venue to test 2010 and 2012 campaign themes. Heading one state south to run against Ted Kennedy's son was a natural first stop. Cole functioned as Shawmut's point man there the day Loughlin announced his candidacy.
Cole's adherence to the Shawmut Group's belief in message discipline was evident when he twice (my point here) tried to cut off reporters after a handful of questions following Loughlin's announcement speech -- an unusual pivot for a candidate who provides his cell phone number on his campaign Web site and who makes it a point of pride to be accessible for questions.
Loughlin ended up staying until the last question was answered.

I hope you are watching the www.mass.gov.com/legis, site .. The Statehouse has started posting to the schedule for hearings, and there are tons of them happening each day. I am having to take time to catch up on medidal appointments and this is slowing down my momentum to watch and tape. http://www.mass.gov/legis/hearings/05-13-2009_DAILY_HEARING_LIST.htm, today we have Revenue and Bonding in Committee.. You can also call Speaker DeLeo office to see if Don Coleman is covering the hearings. They are swamped after the Budget but it still should be done. I am advocating that they do this and if you do not call it will not happen. Please call and support the open meeting law S1458 Bruce Tarr's bill to bring the Legislature under the open meeting law something that should have happened but has not.. please push this..asap.

January 2009 a new Year of new Beginnings

Well Happy New Year to all of my readers and reporters involved in pro active News..

This year it is very serious to begin with a bang.. we must reinvent the wheel and get the Legislature under the same open meeting laws we are under.. this is the plan. We have until January 14 to file the bill..if you have any ideas please email to comflm@yahoo.com your concerns. There has been some talk that the Legislature exempted themselves a few years back and we need to find the story and evaluate the conclusions ..no wonder they are so offended by the videography.. Will be posting a lot today...so stay tuned.. you need to send announcements here for meetings you know about. This is a free site and so you get free postings.

Someday that might change but at the moment this is the plan. We are grassrooting a force of Independant Media to augment the failing Media which operates on bribe money.. pay me and I will cover your story.. a bribe if you ask me.. so please consider supporting this effort today with a donation any amount is ok.. even a dollar.. we do not despise small beginnings.
